Visiting Tours

Stroll around the "Vieux-Tours" district, the most touristic district of the town which has been completely restored.  You can admire the numerous medieval, timber-framed houses, dating back to the 15th century and today listed historic monuments.

Don't miss: Saint Martin Basilica, Beaune-Semblançay Hotel, Charlemagne Tower and Clock Tower.  If you head to the east of the town, you can visit the fine arts museum (a former diocese), Saint-Gatien cathedral and the Château of Tours.
